Rwanda Civil Aviation Training & Innovation Center

The plan of establishing the Rwanda Civil Aviation Training & Innovation Center (RCATIC) is in line with Rwanda’s Vision 2050 pillars, namely “Human Development” and “competitiveness and integration” And Rwanda’s NST 1 Pillar of Economic Transformation; Priority area 4: Promote industrialization and attain a structural shift in the export base to high-value goods and services with the aim of growing exports by 17% annually, Key strategic Intervention of “Develop a vibrant aviation sector- including establishing a center of excellence in aviation to develop critical skills in the sector”.

• RCATIC was established with the purpose of equipping the civil aviation personnel with the knowledge and skills needed to achieve a state-of-the-art aviation industry.

• RCATIC will play an important role in guaranteeing that the civil aviation industry has access to the pool of qualified professionals needed to support the safe, secure and sustainable development of air transport.
