UOC applicant will formally apply to RCAA in accordance with Rwanda UAS Regulations by submitting a formal letter that briefly details the nature of the operations via email: info@caa.gov.rw and copy uas.ssp@caa.gov.rw.  

The applicant should also attach a Concept of Operation, Risk Assessment for the type of proposed UAS operations, and applicant information form.

UOC holders are expected to submit an accident and incident form within 24 hours of a UAS accident and incident as well as a quarterly accident and incident information form to uas.ssp@caa.gov.rw.

The followings Advisory Circular (AC) has been provided for additional insight into Unmanned Aircraft System Operations in Rwanda:

• RCAA-AC-UAS-21-001 – Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) advisory circular. 

The applicant is required to complete and submit to the Authority the following Forms:

• RCAA UAS Applicant form
• RCAA-Form-IR-UAS004 - UAS Accident and Incident Reporting form
• RCAA-Form-SP-UAS001 – Quarterly- Periodic Safety Performance Report on Incident and  Accident  Form
