All UAS manufactured in Rwanda shall not be operated in the Rwanda airspace unless the UAS manufacturer has been accepted by Authority to manufacture that specific model of UAS in accordance with Rwanda UAS Regulations.

NOTE : The accepted UAS shall operate in accordance with RCAR Part 27.

A manufacturer who wants to be accepted by the Authority to manufacture a UAS in Rwanda will formally apply to RCAA by submitting a formal letter that briefly describes the UAS and its use case and an application information form via email: info@caa.gov.rw and copy uas.ssp@caa.gov.rw.

Following the RCAA response, the applicant should follow the five phases of acceptance stipulated in the Advisory Circular.
