Transportation of Dangerous goods by Air
The Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Air is governed by Rwanda Civil Aviation Regulations Part 18 and supported by associated regulations and technical documents when necessary. The Dangerous Goods program is managed by Dangerous Goods Coordinator (DGC). The DGC is responsible for ensuring adequate original certifications and on-going inspection programs are administered effectively and in a standardized manner. Qualified Dangerous Goods Inspectors (DGI) provide support to ensure certification and inspections are completed and conducted in a timely manner. Together these persons provide oversight and advice on dangerous goods in the interest of public safety in the acceptance, transport and handling of dangerous goods in air transport only.
