Organizations, Operators and service providers wishing to operate within the Rwanda Aviation Industry shall follow Regulatory requirements prescribed by the Authority.

The Rwanda Civil Aviation Regulations (RCARs) related to Safety Management System are: -

The followings Advisory Circular (AC) has been provided for additional insight into establishing a Safety Management System.

To report any hazards, incidents and accidents, operators and service providers are required to complete and submit to the Authority the following Forms and related documents:

Service providers and Operators are required to comply with mandatory and voluntary safety reporting requirements.

The Authority has therefore provided a Safety Data Collection and Processing System known as  SafetyCore  to enhance reporting of any incidents, accidents and hazards that affect aviation safety.
