Aviation Medical
The RCAA Aviation Medicine in PEL Department was established to provide aeromedical technical support and advisories on matters related to medical certification as prescribed in relevant RCARs
The overall purpose of the Aviation Medicine is to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure aeromedical safety regulations are implemented.
In order to obtain and maintain valid licenses, pilots, air traffic controllers and cabin crew are required to undergo periodical medical examinations and are issued with a medical certificate appropriate for the duties the applicant intends to exercise. The Aviation Medicine Section (AMS) in RCAA Personnel Licensing Department through Medical Assessor conducts an oversight function through supervising the medical certification processes and procedures.

To initiate the application process, applicants are required to complete and submit to the Designated aviation medical examiner the following Forms and related documents:
