An operator shall not engage in All Weather Operations (AWO) unless that operator is authorized by the Authority.

The Rwanda Civil Aviation Regulations (RCARs) related to Authorization of AWO operations are: -

• RCAR Part 1: General Policies, Procedures and Definition
• RCAR Part 6: Required Instruments Equipment
• RCAR Part 10: Operation of Aircraft for Commercial Air Transport Regulations
• RCAR Part 12: Air Operator Certification and Administration Regulations
• RCAR Part 14: AOC Personnel

To initiate the authorization approval process, applicants are required to complete and submit to the Authority the following Forms and related documents:

• 564-06 Form RCC: Instruments-Equipment
• 564-030 Form CC: All Weather Operations
• 581A Form: AWO Application
