Air Transport section is responsible for issue and renewal of Air Service Licenses and code-share statement of Authorization.

The Rwanda Civil Aviation Regulations (RCARs) related to issue/renewal of ASL and code-share statement of Authorization are: -

• RCAR Part 01: General Policies, Procedures & Definitions.
• RCAR Part 37: Licensing of Air Services.

The following Advisory Circular (AC) has been provided for additional insight into the issue/renewal of Air Service License:

• AC 37-001 – Authorization of code-sharing operations 

To initiate the approval process, applicants are required to complete and submit to the Authority the following Forms and related documents:

• Form P37-001  Application Form for Issue/renewal of Air Services Licenses.
• Form P37-002  Application for Foreign Air Carrier Code-sharing Authorization Statement.
